FLANDERS - Gent, BEL (FEB 14) - Dwight Thomas (JAM/Adidas) finished 2nd in the men's 60 meter hurdles while Gloria Asumnu (USA/Adidas) finished third in the women's 60 meters. Thomas also finished 3rd in GE Galan meet in Stockholm on Feb.. 10th.
US CROSS COUNTRY CHAMPIONSHIPS - Spokane, WA (FEB 13) - Patrick Smyth (Nike) stayed on a roll with a 2nd place finish. Smyth covered the 12k course with a time of 34:52.
ERDGAS - Leipzig, GER (FEB 13) - Dylan Armstrong (CAN/Nike) recorded a new personal best and Canadian Record 20.85m toss in the men's shot put. Armstrong finished 2nd overall. Ivet Lalova (BUL/Nike) won the women's 60 meters with a season best time of 7.24 seconds.
TYSON INVITATIONAL - Fayetteville, AR (FEB 12-13) - Lacy Janson (USA/Nike) vaulted to a personal best 4.66 meters to win the women's pole vault, while Russell Brown (USA/Nike OTC) picked-up the victory and a new personal best of 3:55.79 in the men's mile. Team USA Minnesota's Heather Dorniden (USA) finished 3rd in the women's 800 meters.
UW CLASSIC - Seattle, WA (FEB 12-13) - Nick Symmonds, Matt Scherer, and Will Leer led the Nike Oregon Track Club to a win and new American and world best in the men's distance medley relay. Julia Howard (CAN/Nike) won the women's 800 meters in a new personal best time of 2:03.87.
SPARKASSEN CUP - Stuttgart, GER (FEB 6) - Laverne Jones-Ferrette (ISV/Asics) stole the show winning the 60 meters in 6.97 seconds. The fastest time in the World in 11 years making. Her time places her as the 6th fastest of all time in the event. Behind Jones-Ferrette was Carmelita Jeter (USA/Nike) the second fastest-ever woman over 100m. Jeter also ran a new personal best of 7.05. Also running well was Dwight Thomas (JAM/Adidas) who placed third in the men's 60 meter hurdles.

REEBOK INDOOR GAMES - Boston, MA (FEB 6) - Me’Lisa Barber (USA) continued her perfect season following up her big Millrose Games victory with another victory. This time the margin was bigger as she won in a time of 7.22. Placing third in the women's 60 meters was Muna Lee (USA/Nike). In other events on the track, Kenia Sinclair (JAM) won the women's 1000 meters in impressive fashion and Will Leer (USA/Nike OTC) placed second in the men's mile. Also having a good run was steeple specialist Barbara Parker (GBR) who 4th in the flat 3000 meter event with a new personal best of 8:52.

HOUSTON INDOOR INVITATIONAL - Houston, TX (FEB 6) - Gloria Asumnu (USA/Adidas) dominated the women's 60 meters winning in a very impressive time 7.17 seconds.
