Carmelita Jeter (USA/Nike) blasted out of the blocks and increased her lead the entire way as she clocked 10.64 to become the second fastest female of all-time over 100 meters. This was the 15th sub-11 second 100 meter run under all conditions in 2009. 

Andra Manson (USA/Nike) closed out his 2009 campaign with a win in the men's high jump, while Cydonie Mothersill (CAY/Reebok) placed second in the women's 200 meters behind Alison Felix. Mothersill's mark of 22.45 was her fastest time this season. Novlene Williams-Mills (JAM/Adidas) closed out her season in style running her third sub-50 second 400 meters with a time 49.85.

Also running well was Total Sports newcomer Gloria Asumnu (USA/Adidas) fourth in the women's 100 meters in 11.24, and Laverne Jones-Ferrette (ISV/Adidas) who closed out her best season placing fourth in the women's 200 meters with a mark of 22.76.
