In last weekends road race action, Canada's Reid Coolsaet (New Balance) and Megan Metcalfe (New Balance) both finished second at the Canadian 10k Road Championships.
Metcalfe, a 2008 Olympic finalist over 5000 meters, is coming back from an early season injury that cut short her 2009 season, while Coolsaet is a coming off a personal best in the marathon at the World Championships in Berlin. In early road action, Aaron Aguayo (USA/Nike) finished a very close second at the Santa Monica 5k, while British Olympian Barbara Parker (New Balance) was third in the women's race.
