Michael Rodgers and Carmelita Jeter continue their winning ways in the 100 By Rob Moseley Since then she began working with elite sprint coach John Smith, and this year Jeter is posting some of the top times in the world. Jeter has won three major events in a row, taking the adidas Track Classic in 11.09, the Reebok Grand Prix in a windy 10.85 and Sunday’s race in the same time. She seems to have established herself among the favorites for a berth in the World Championships when she returns to Eugene for the USA Outdoor Track & Field Championships later this month. Brimming with confidence, Jeter reins it in when talking about those events. “I haven’t made the team yet, so I have to go into the U.S. trials like it’s any other race,” Jeter said.
