by The Associated Press MONACO -- Nick Symmonds of the Oregon Track Club Elite set a personal best and finished third in the 800 meters Tuesday at the Herculis Super Grand Prix track meet. Symmonds' previous best of 1:44.10 was set in the 2008 Olympic trials. Tuesday's race was his last scheduled competition before the world championships in Berlin, which begin Aug. 15.
