Lee, Jeter lead blistering relay in Cottbus

Leer, Pifer go 1-2 in Falmouth Mile

Last weekend's track action saw Muna Lee (Nike) and Carmelita Jeter (Nike) lead the U.S. women's 4 x 100 meter relay in Cottbus, GER to a blistering time of 41.58 , the eighth fastest mark of all-time. Along with the relay, Jeter will compete in the 100 meters in Berlin, while Lee will run both the 100 meters and 200 meters.

Nike Oregon Track Club Elite members Will Leer and Stephen Pifer recorded a 1-2 sweep for Total Sports at the Falmouth Mile this past Saturday. In Sunday's Falmouth Road Race, Pifer bounced back to finish as the third American, while Leer crossed the line 8th.

 

In other weekend action, Russell Brown (Nike OTC) won the 1500 meters at the Amsterdam Open on August 8.
